Rebosa Launches Successful
The launch of REBOSA in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth has been very successful with an overwhelming response from principals and business owners who have welcomed the formation of this organisation, which they felt is long overdue.
A launch will be held in Bloemfontein on 20 April and in George, the first week in May.
The first person to join REBOSA was Ronel Heyns from Gordons Bay, who has been a stalwart of the REBOSA process over the last year. “Membership applications are being received daily, which is extremely encouraging and supports the response from the industry that such a body is needed that will be credible and professional, while at the same time transforming and uniting the industry,” said Penfold Interim CEO.
Compliance is a cornerstone to achieving unity, transformation upliftment and development of the real estate industry. The REBOSA Ethics line will be launched next week. The services of an international firm have been engaged, thereby ensuring total independency from REBOSA. Unregistered agents and unethical behaviour of estate agents can be reported to this Hotline.
