Hi Phillipa, your best bet would be to do a search for jobs in Durban in the industries you are interested in, for example admin & office, http://www.careerjunction.co.za/search/results/?keywords=Durban&jobtitle=&sort=1&Location=13131&Industry=267. You can then apply for all jobs that interest you, Don't forget to make your online resume searchable so that recruiters who have positions that match your skills can find you.
